Fields of activity

SCHMELZMETALL AG is the main production site for our alloys HOVADUR® and HOVADUR® K. In Gurtnellen, our experts also deal with the metallurgy of our alloys. The correct composition of the different elements of the alloy is constantly developed and controlled in order to produce the optimal alloy for our customers.

Due to our central stock, we are able to supply you a wide range of semi-finished products quickly from stock. We also produce finished parts according to your specification in our own machine center.

  • 1 Product manager with focus on plastic injection moulding; HP-DC)
  • 20 sales partners all over the world (10 of them in Europe)

Fields of activity

SCHMELZMETALL Hungária KFT. Is the main production site for our HOVADUR® B alloys. For test casts, we have a small 10 kg vacuum furnace at our disposal. Furthermore, we have our own forge and the possibility to carry out heat treatments ourselves.

Technology

  • Furnace up to 1900 kg
  • Open die forging with two hammers (750kg / 1000kg strike power)
  • Heat treatment plants
